EigenLayer, the Ethereum restaking protocol, is on a roll this week with the announcement of its Actively Validated Services (AVS) mainnet launch and the introduction of six new services. These AVS offerings cover a wide range of functionalities, including rollups, oracle integration, light client functionality, and more.

The newly unveiled services include AltLayer’s MACH restaked rollups, Brevis’s Coprocessor, Eoracle’s Ethereum native oracle, Lagrange’s State Committee, and Witness Chain‘s DePIN coordination layer. Each service fills a critical role in enhancing EigenLayer’s ecosystem, addressing different needs such as rollup requirements, real-world data integration, and fast computing capabilities.
AVSs are pivotal components of EigenLayer’s ecosystem, providing essential services secured by EigenLayer restakers and operated by EigenLayer operators. This infrastructure empowers EigenLayer to offer a robust and reliable platform for Ethereum users to earn yield on their native ETH tokens.
EigenLayer’s Ethereum mainnet launch on April 9 marked a significant milestone, attracting substantial capital inflow and establishing a record-high total value locked within the first 24 hours. The platform’s rapid growth is further supported by partnerships with major operators such as the Coinbase developer platform, Google Cloud, and Blockdaemon.
With over 4.1 million ETH staked since June, EigenLayer has emerged as a dominant force in the restaking sector, commanding 99% of the market share with a total value locked of $13.7 billion, according to DeFiLlama.
This remarkable growth underscores the increasing demand for staking solutions and solidifies EigenLayer’s position as a leading player in the Ethereum ecosystem.
